This system is just one of five available "defensive driving" technologies to provide drivers with full monitoring of the surrounding to help avoid collisions and improve driver reactions. The ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System with Stop and Release system will detect a possible collision and will provide a warning and momentary brake pulse, and, in some circumstances, the system will even bring the vehicle to a full stop.
