Chrysler now has an Italian flair.

One of the Detroit 3, Chrysler has joined forces with Italian automaker FIAT to form one of the world's leading car manufacturers.

Led by FIAT head Sergio Marchionne, the company will officially be known as FIAT Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) when it hits the New York Stock Exchange later this year.

The merging of these two unique companies is expected to open the pipeline of new automobiles to American showrooms. We couldn't possibly be more excited to see what the next generation of automobiles produced by FCA.

At Fitzgerald Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we believe that the recent merger with FIAT is great news for loyal customers of our many Chrysler brands.

Take the Jeep brand, for example. Marchionne believes that the iconic SUV maker could sell one million vehicles worldwide this year. The lofty number would represent a 37 percent increase in sales, but who's to say the goal is outside the realm of possibility? Just last year, the Jeep brand sold a company record of over 700,000 vehicles following a record-setting 2012.

Have you seen the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Even if Chrysler falls short of one million sales in 2013, CEO Sergio Marchionne's bold proclamation tells us that he's setting the bar high for the newly-formed company. This can only mean great things for our customers, who should expect to see a fantastic fleet of vehicles out of FIAT-Chrysler in the coming years.

Until then, please visit our Fitzgerald, GA dealership to feast your eyes on a new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram vehicle of your choice!
