When it comes to patriotic imagery, you can imagine that a Dodge dealership like us would go starkers for the image of George Washington standing next to a Challenger. Of course, given the unfortunate march of time, we'll never get to see this in the flesh, but that doesn't mean that we haven't seen it already in the form of a Dodge ad.
This spot, which actually aired around this time last year in honor of Independence Day, gives us a nifty look at a piece of revisionist history. In it, we see a speculative scene of what would happen if a British legion found itself up against Washington and his generals riding in muscle cars instead of horses.
The results are pretty much what you might expect.
