In recent years, the automotive press and industry has showered the RAM 1500 with more accolades and honors than most other truck makers can shake a stick at. Some of those wins had been first-ever back-to-back wins, such as the second consecutive MotorTrend "Truck of the Year" award in 2014.
Now, the 1500 has net itself another back-to-back win. This time, the honor comes by way of the Canadian Truck King contest. While RAM's half-tonner is no slouch in Canada--it's the second bestselling model overall--it had some pretty hot competition from the likes of thirteen other full size pickups.
Against those odds, the 1500 still came out as top dog by winning the two most prestigious accolades: Best Full-Size Pickup, and Canadian Truck King. That's a pretty lofty award, but not surprising given the mixture of luxury, potency, capability, and efficiency it brings to the table.
